It’s always nice to have peers share their talents and skills to other fellow artists. Trevor Coopersmith, a first semester intern, offered to give a workshop demonstrating the basic principles of spray paint. Not only did he give a wonderful lecture during his demo, but also gave volunteers a step by step guide on how to achieve certain techniques from the spray paint.
From ripping and mushing paper onto the wet surface to light drips of paint splatting all over the paper, Trevor taught three different workshops how to create their custom “galaxy” piece.
It was fun as well as eduactional to see just how little tricks can create amazing works of art.
Thank you Trevor for the great experience!
